    graphics card


    hi everyone i am looking for the best graphics card out the that i could fit in my compaq evo d510 sff the slot for it is agp, 1.5v and it needs to be 4x. i live in uk i have been looking on eBay and amazon but i only find the crap one. help guys

    AGP is very old and finding a card will be very hard you might want to look into upgrading your entire unit or buy a cheaper one at the store then add and mid range card that will allow you better performance

    Compaq Evo Desktop D510 845G - North America/U.S. QuickSpecs

    According to the spec, you have several problems. The first is that the graphics slot is AGP. That's rather limiting at this time. The second is that because it's a SFF machine, it can only take low profile cards. The worst problem is that the power supply is only 175W.

    Not sure what to recommend. The best card that I find at www.newegg.com (no, they don't serve the UK) is a Radeon HD 4350. Low-end, low power.

    Radeon HD 4350 requires at least a 300W power supply... I don't think a 175W PSU can handle it, since the PC run a Pentium 4 which consumes a lot of power and run several legacy devices.
