X3 Albion Prelude

Hi Guys, I am hoping someone could give me some help here...
Bought the game X 3 Albion Prelude, I have the Terran Conflict but I thought I would up-grade,

The Pc specs are Ram =3 GB, AMD Phenom(tm) 8550 triple-core 2.20ghz, 64 bit OS.
Graphics Card = Radeon HD 6770

When I go to play the game it's like it's like every (clock second) it jerks, perhaps even faster than every second, nothing is fluid, it all jerks, but very fast, but bad enough to stop you playing the game.
X3 Terran Conflict was flawless,
Any Idea's ?

These games won't requires a strong graphics card; your HD 6770 should handle them without issues.

Try to turn off AntiAliasing, lower graphics settings.
Update your audio and video drivers..

That was the 1st things I tried with ZERO improvement

Perhaps a conflict with the Graphic's card, or bottle neck somewhere, the game is back in it's box, and Terran Conflict is reinstalled, awaiting answers.
