    Why I mentioned earlier about the uninstall of DirectX. I knew you couldn't just install an older version, you'll have to root out every trace of 11 and then there would be no guarantee that you could install an older version or even that it wouldn't mess up your system totally. I don't remember where I read the steps to uninstall or I'd link it for you, sorry.

    Only reason I can come up with about the "why" you asked is...... just different versions written different ways.

    Maybe a driver/firmware rollback for your GPU? I'd be mighty careful there..... have you gone to the new gpu's maker and asked there?

    its done it on 2 separate GPUs. a 6670 and my current 6770. rite now im on the bata driver for the 6770 and it seems to help a tiny tiny tiny bit. but still sucks....

    Compatibility mode maybe? Running out of ideas to tell you the truth. I'm going to be pretty busy today, but I'll see if I can find anything else when I can.

    i think running in compatibility to windows 95 might help. havent been able to fully test it tho.... thank you very much!

    ok so running in windows 95 defientially helped, but shadows suck now lol. no biggie, but im still getting lag spikes and stutters. i had to lower the resolution to 1600x900 to get to where it is. it defientially helped a big time tho! but maybe its not direct x? like its still no where near as smooth as BFBC2 or dirt 3....
