Nice machine by the way, hope you/we can get this figured out. Now that I got your spec.'s (again , could have swore I looked for them at an earlier time), maybe my friend will have some direction. Think he'll want to know about that particular adapter. Let you know when I hear something.

    You're very welcome btw!

sure ill send u the ebay link, they then have a link to their website. the other people who have done this mod have never had this problem.... rite now, im almost 70% positive its an driver issue/ disagreement between the internal and external.

Kinda had that thought too, how well they were "playing" together. Thanks for that link I'll include it with my message to my friend. Have already copy/pasted the card spec.'s. He is pretty good at answering my questions.

so i got it to the best i can get it rite now..... its deferentially a driver issue tho. but my computer is only allowing me to install the 4530 series driver from the 30 or so that i tried to install. however running compatibility to any other version of windows messes things up even more. im still getting lag and choppiness, but NOTHING like before! im still going to search for drivers and keep trying. ive made a restore point, so i can always go back to my config that i have now.

Not yet, haven't heard from my friend and I'm out of ideas. Sorry. When I hear back I'll post anything new he suggests.

Grasping at straws here, but any chance it could be bad connector/connection?

Duh.... just answered my own question. Nevermind.
