the crossfire cable would still be needed if he was doing crossfire with 2 dedicated cards, but I don't think he has two HD6670's. I think he is trying to use the integrated graphics in the APU chip (a CPU and GPU combined) and a single HD6670. This is called Hybrid Crossfire

Never thought that was possible. So I suppose that setting is only available within the BIOS then? Guess I am of no use here hah!

Have you tried plugging the monitor cable into the back of computer instead of through HD 6670? see if BIOS shows up there...

Can you post a screenshot of the Mainboard tab?

In CPU-Z, you took a screenshot of one Tab (for CPU) if you go back into it, you will see at the top a tab for mainboard. that will show what BIOS you have and what version it is updated to and some other good info.

Also, for the GPU-Z, there is a drop down box at the bottom where it says HD 6670, see if there is another entry in there. and post a screenshot of the page for that entry.

Going forward for the BIOS, you might need to take out the 6670, reset the BIOS and plug in the monitor to the mobo port. Not sure if a full uninstall of the 6670 drivers and all would need to be done. this should get you back to a point where you can see the BIOS. I am not certain of this though....

also, the tab for the 6670 in GPU-Z says that Crossfire is disabled. This setting needs to be turned on in BIOS: How to Enable Hybrid Crossfire in the BIOS | eHow.com

Yeah I did see the disabled thing but it should be because I can't access the bios to try and change it.
