If there is a fan in your system that whines so much it hurts your ears..........you have a fan that is about to go bad. I have 2-35mm fans in my motherboard that turn 3700-4000 RPM and they are whisper quiet.
Any idea what brand and type those fans are? My 70mm CPU fan is the loudest on my entire PC and it drives me crazy when it runs full speed.

That's understandable. It is having to work the hardest since it is a CPU fan, and it is way too small. You could use a new CPU cooler.

Also, I don't know what brand they are, they are the fans that come with the Asus Z77 Sabertooth motherboard. They install in the motherboard and channel air through the thermal armor, over the components.
