i.......... think so.......... but as I said, this is over my head. I'm going through this tutorial again as we speak. I've sent the link to someone I know to see if he can make heads or tails of it. Will let you know when/if I hear anything.

O.K. Cool, I'll relay them to him. No promises now, o.k.?

Reading the comments on the page, it seems like just about everyone had trouble the first time or two. But, made it finally.

yay! got it! i got both the internal and external running on the same driver. now, question is how well does it perform? unfortunaly, i had to install the external on my internal GPU drive if that makes sense....

ok, so the graphics and performance increased DRAMATICALLY in BFBC2. i was able to play on 1080 with almost all high settings. however, it was a different story for far cry 3, that seemed laggier, and the rest of my games seemed the same maybe a little better. i dident try all of them tho. tomorrow im going to use the 6670 driver, and try a older version. idk seeing the difference in performance from what i was running previous to now was negotiable for COD and farcry. but BFBC2 was increased like 15x..... weird. i did not install CCC tho. couldn't get that far. so i guess for now, im going to create a restore point, then try again tomorrow.

alright i was able to mod the gigabyte version on the 6770 and install that driver on my internal and external. performance increased A LOT, but im still getting little lag spikes here and there in my cod games etc..... BFBC2 seemed to be a little worse in performance, but i think thats because its running in DX11 now and not DX 9 or 10 but i can force it into 9 or 10 so no biggie. i think im going to leave it like this. its the best performance ive gotten on 1080 with BFBC2 and MW2 (from what ive tested) so far. and im tired of messing with this stuff.

Well, at least you've gotten it playable. No help from my friend at RoG. I was actually waiting till you came back to tell you. He was curious himself if you could get it running o.k. so thanks for letting us know what you have. IF he comes up with something I'll let you know asap, but I'm not real optimistic to tell you the truth. He "does" Nvidia almost totally exclusively, but said his interest was piqued. Again, thank you for sharing your solution. And a thank you from me personally for an interesting "ride" , even if not totally satisfactory. I take off my hat to you.
