Cannot install Catalyst Control Center after switching motherboards.

I had to swap my motherboard, because the first one died. After I swapped it I noticed that I could not use Catalyst Control Center on my laptop, which led me to find a solution to my problem. After searching for about a few days I couldn't find any solution. I used to be able to right click and then left click catalyst control center, but after the swapping it said something about the config if I recall correctly. I thought that I could uninstall it and then reinstall it but it didn't work and now I'm here.

I've tried using DriverSweeper in Safe Mode after uninstalling the drivers, reformatting my laptop, and a bunch more.

I have a switchable graphics laptop that is supposed to switch between the integrated and the Radeon HD 6770M, if it helps somehow.

It may have something to do with a different bios version in your new board that threw ccc off, or your Radeon HD is disabled in the bios. have you looked into your bios settings?

No, I have not looked into the BIOS. I'm generally too scared to go there, since I'm not that great with computers. Is there something specific I should look for?

    EDIT:
I have checked the BIOS and I saw nothing that has anything to do with the Radeon HD. Do I need to update my BIOS?

    EDIT:
I have updated my BIOS through the HP setup thing (dv6t-6100 CTO Quad Edition) and the BIOS is still the same.

I'm a little confused. Are you having this problem with your radeon drivers from a fresh installation or the same installation you had with the old board? In other words, did you re-install windows (or do a factory restore) after you installed this board?

I did a factory restore after I installed this board (newer one).

here is the latest driver from the hp website as well.

AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver - HP Pavilion dv6t-6100 CTO Quad Edition Entertainment Notebook PC | HP® Support

I would remove the video driver from your device manager and reboot before installing either one of these. just to be sure that it is a clean start with no conflictions.
