    ATI 5770 & 5750 on sale!!

    ATI 5770 & 5750 on sale
    $130-$160 OMG!

    Newegg.com - Computer Hardware,Video Cards & Video Devices,Desktop Graphics / Video Cards,Radeon HD 5000 series

I have 2x 4850`s. Wonder if a single 5770 will outperform them? (plus add DX11 to the picture)

Very nice, the price for the memory/specs of the cards is quite nice.

5770 has same performance as a 4870 but lower power consumption (40 nm) and DX11 support.

which is the most powerful card
XFX HD 5750 1GB DDR5 DUAL DVI DISPLAYPORT HDMI Out PCI-E Graphics Card - Ebuyer
XFX HD 4870 750M 1GB DDR5 DUAL DVI TV Out PCI-E Graphics Card - Ebuyer

i returned my faulty card recently and got store credit and end up going for the same card as i had but 1gb version, i was put of by this 5750 because i thought 5750 are only 128 bit but since returning to the site theyve seem to put the full specs up and says it 256bits
this has a lower gpu clock than the 4870 but i think better memory clock
ive still got the option to change my item
you think its a better card

The 5750 and 5770 have 128-bit memory buses but don't look at that. Look at the memory bandwidth. A card with GDDR5 memory on a 128-bit bus can have more than a card with GDDR3 memory on a 256-bit bus. Having a smaller bus reduces cost and complexity and makes sense for the small die size on the 5700 series cards.

That said, the 4870 has better performance than the 5750, but the 5750 draws less power. The 4870 is about equal to a 5770 in performance.
