safe mode online video works excellent, normal mode awful, unwatchable

I would like to figure out why the video is so jerky running in normal mode.
Is there a way to find out?

Also the sound system does not start in safe mode.

Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup

Don't forget to do step three after troubleshooting. Is it running fine in clean startup?

I dont see this in the services list.
How do i run msconfig as admin?

    4. Click on the Services tab, check the Hide all Microsoft services box, click on the Disable all button, and click on OK. (see screenshot below)

ok i did all the instructions
    it is improved maybe.
Of course i am comparing to safe mode performance which is excellent

what i was wondering is this laptop has nvidia chipset. when in safe mode, there is no audio. so is the chipset audio driver causing some issues?

Is there a link to nvidia chipset 64 bit drivers to maybe upgrade things?

this is a dv9005us HP laptop with a Turion x64 cpu and go 6150 nvidia

Did you read Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup ??

You disabled all startup items and all non-microsoft services. Simply do what's explained there

surprisingly, firefox does a little bit better when the video is full screened.

Netflix in chrome, forget it. very slow laggy and the video and audio way out of sync, even when not full screened. have not tried firefox with netflix.

netflix is doing away with silverlight and will use html5. I hope the sooner the better. html5 is ok on this laptop.
