    Weird Problem...

For months now, my screen has been messed up. Every time I try to play a game (ex.Minecraft or Warframe on steam) My screen gets derpy. After about 2-5 mins of playing i get horizontal black lines through my screen and is not limited to the game only. After those start, certain parts of my screen move to different places. Then my screen completely blacks out and my computer shuts down. Sometimes this even happens on youtube vids. I have a ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics card.

I sounds like a GPU that's going bad. When was the last time the entire rig was blown out for dust?

I would clean it with compressed air and if you can open it and see the fan then clean it and then report how it responds after being cleaned completely. Remember that an air compressor allows for some moisture to get into the air and I always allow the cleaned computer another 5-10 minutes for the little bit of moisture to evaporate.

do you think a small air compresser (in my garage) would be to powerfull? Im only 13 so ill try to play safe and buy some canned air. Thank you so much. I probably wont re-post for a couple of days. My dad is sick so i dont know when i can get around to it. Thanks again!

    gageplay,
I use a small compressor myself both for my desktop and laptop machines. The trick is using it wisely as they can still be very powerful so you go slow with short blasts at a greater distance than would you with the air cans. I'll bet that lappy is loaded and will thank you when it's cleaned.
