3D textures messing up on every game; what's the issue?

    Hey there all!

I apologize for hastily creating this thread out of the blue, but this issue is happening for months and nothing I do seems to solve it. Actually, I don't even know what's the problem. I suspected the graphic card drivers (it's a ATI Radeon HD 4500/5100 series, for a HP Pavillion dv6 laptop) or DirectX, but I really am clueless on this topic.

The quality of the graphics makes no difference whatsoever, be it top-notch ones at high-requirement games or just the basic on low-end ones.

I'm attaching an example of what happens whenever there's 3D motion involved. Other examples are the pitch on Football Manager turning blue / some geometric parts of it going black, the whole floor on MotoGP 2013 (be it tarmac or grass) transforming into a big black pit and the sky full of weird colored and black bars.

Hopefully someone can tell me what to do! Thanks in advance.

    Perhaps you could reinstall DirectX

Which AMD driver are you using? (AMD bought out ATI years ago)

I'd upgrade to the latest driver than has that supported

4500/5100, that seems rather odd, which is it?

Get GPU-Z from cpuid.com to clarify for sure. (freeware) Will tell you which driver you are currently using as well.

guru3d.com is a good spot for older drivers, if the latest catalyst ones are not helpful.

    Yep. Update Drivers.

If drivers don't fix it, then the GPU itself is failing. Cards that have artifacted on me like that have been due to bad GPU's.
