No signal after computer locked

I was on here a few days ago with a video card issue, turns out the PSU (450w) wasn't enough to power my 8800GT anymore so I swapped it for an old GeForce 7300 LE 128MB. So far it works just fine but as of today (it's happened 3 times now) when I lock my computer and come back to it, the monitors display "No signal" and the power lights stay amber. I have to hard shutdown with the power button and restart 4 or 5 times before the video will finally show up. Am I losing this card, too?

It's a graphics driver problem. It somehow messes up and can't wake when the computer comes out of sleep. You might need to update your graphics driver or get a newer GPU like GeForce GT 620.

Getting a new GPU is out of the question right now, as they require money which I don't have. I'll see what I can do with the drivers and report back. Thanks!

Best method is to uninstall existing drivers then Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling before installing new

Alright, uninstalled all Nvidia drivers, ran Driver Sweeper and cleaned everything Nvidia. Reinstalled in Safe Mode so Windows wouldn't automatically do it, aaaand it still happens. My computer is set to turn off the monitors after 10 min but never go to sleep (since I use it as a media server). So all I do is lock it, turn off the monitor, and that's it.

UPDATE: Locked or unlocked doesn't matter. It's when the computer turns the monitor off. I just had it up with the system left unlocked and as soon as it turned off the monitor (after 10 min of inactivity) it wouldn't come back on. I assume I could just turn off the power saving feature but I'd rather fix the root of the problem

Looks like the only temporary solution is to set the "turn off the display" to never until you found a fully functional drivers.

This card is like 6 years old now, and the driver for it just came out a couple months ago. Surely it doesn't get more up to date than that?

I'd suggest to try updating other drivers like chipset, sata controller, etc. Sometimes they fix conflict with other newer graphics drivers.

I can't even get it to boot now. When I turn it on, the fans start to spin, the computer beeps, all that. But the monitors stay black with the amber light. I have to turn it off and turn it back on numerous times before it will finally start sending out video again. I can hear all the BIOS stuff going and all, just no video will come out. That couldn't be a driver could it? Before it even gets to Windows?
