    my radeon 3850 is not working


    hi i have a sapharie radeon 3850 agp and it worked on xp however when i went to try it out on seven it keeps telling me everytime i try to open up ati catalyst control center it says IT DOES NOT HAVE A GRAPHIC DRIVER UP AND I DOWNLOADED THE SUIT THAT BRINGS EVERYTHING

    Hey akon and welcome to seven forums

    You do need a different driver in win 7 than in XP. Im not sure if you are 32bit or 64, so I just got you the link to both they can be found here Graphics Drivers & Software hope this helps

    The 3850 AGP needs to have the .inf edited to install. You have to install manually using the device manager if you want to use Catalyst for Win 7 drivers. (Just download the driver from from ATI for any high end card then, and edit as I said.) See my post here:

    You can use the Vista hotfix driver if you want to install without hassle as ZigZag3143 has shown.

    Please list all your system specs in your user cp. Also this post has help numerous people with AGP cards and their dirvers.

    so the new driver and the hot fix didnt work. go into device manager by typing device manager in search. go to the display tab and tell us if your video card is listed, and if it has a yellow triangle on it?
