Screen resolution doesn't fit my monitors border.

Yesterday, i noticed how when i used my internet browser (Google Chrome) i noticed the window was to big and the sides were pushed outside of my monitors borders so some options could not be used / seen . I tried restarting and seeing if my resolution was incorrect (Im using an Acer V223HQ 21.5 inch Widescreen TFT LCD Monitor 16:9 - Black) and as always i use its resolution of 1920X1080 but still something was wrong, i thought restarting would help or rather do something ,but it didnt, i tried loging into a game and i notices even it at fullscreen and at the 1920X1080 resolution had some parts being dragged outside of the border, ive tried googling it but ive come up with almost nothing specific, any help would be appreciated ( PS: Im new to this so im unsure if i posted this in the correct location and English is not my main language so expect some spelling errors )

Left click and hold on the Desktop. Roll the mouse wheel one way or the other slowly. That will increase or decrease the size of things on the Desktop. See if oyu can resolve it that way.

Your monitor should have an auto adjust button. Press it.

If you have an AMD card open Catalyst Control Centre and decrease the overscan option.

No problem. I had a similar error once and I had to take the computer to maintenance. The next time I had a problem like that I just pressed the auto adjust button and magic happened. Saved me a two mile walk.

Screen Resolution not fitting my monitor

My monitor / system unit is a QUBE(a monitor that has its system unit inside it). I happen to reformat it for some reason (well to many app and files just feel on reformatting it), and so after all, form 800X600 default resolution when the os is in first boot I change it to the recommended resolution 1366X768, cause it is only the options thing that exist in my Screen Resolution. But after that my desktops 3/4 right side part is not seen though the left side of the screen of the monitor is in black. I install Windows 7 Professional. What Should I do?
