    Stretched Screen! HELP!

Hey. I have a windows 7 ultimate OS. I just turned on my computer and the entire screen is stretched out! I tried to search on google and stuff but nothing helped. So, I went to Device Manager and under the display adapters it says Intel(R) G33/G31 Express chipset family. I'm guessing thats the video card or something (Sorry I'm not much of a tech girl) Anyways, it's disabled and i was wondering if it would help if i enabled it. If not then what should I do?! Help?

    Welcome to the forum,

That screenshot you posted doesn't look streched to me, here's the same wall on mine.

Also you can see if step 7 in this tutorial Desktop Background - Change helps.

What is the make and model of your computer?

Is your problem just on your desktop or on every screen you go to? Check your recommended screen resolution; rick click on open desktop, click screen resolution, under resolution make sure it's set to the recommended setting for that monitor.

Well, i guess it doesn't look stretched in the screenshot but it really is. It was different before. I have an Acer 20" LCD moniter, if that answers your question.

Its on every window. And yeah I messed with the screen resolution but that didn't help either.

Do you have the monitor hooked up to your motherboards graphics card (the display adapter port will be vertical | on the tower) or an aftermarket card? (display adapter will be horizontal _ and located in the bank of expansion slots)

Enable it, that's the graphics card, it's using uPnP drivers at the moment, Once enabled, the screen will go blank, then the correct display resolution will show, why was it disabled in the first place?

I have no idea. There was a virus in the computer and I sent it to the shop to get it fixed. When it came back the screen was stretched and the graphics card was disabled.
