The first snippet says Generic Non PnP Monitor and I think that is why you have a limited range of resolutions. Check Windows Update and see if there is a generic driver for your monitor.

Go to Control Panel > Device Manager > Monitors......You should see a list of connected monitors. You can right click on any of those and select Properties > Driver > Update Driver to see if there is a generic driver available.

Still need your system specs. We're all guessing you hardware setup.

Are you saying that you have built in graphics on your motherboard + GT639 video card? If that is the case the built-in graphics on MB may need to be turned off/disabled in BIOS. This may be causing a hardware conflict. I've never owned a MB with built-in graphics but perhaps someone else could commit on that. Internet search indicates some do, some don't.

If you do have built-in graphics on your MB & have your monitor connected to there, then maybe that's why it's identifying as Generic Non PnP Monitor. You'd need to move the monitor connector (DVI?) to your GT630 & see what happens.

And, follow kbrady1979's instructions in post #14 & post that info back to us.

I've seen problems like this before, where the monitor suddenly develops a problem and will show non PnP. Here is one such issue: Generic non pnp monitor
