GTX 650 - 2nd monitor detected but no display

    Hello there,

Recently bought a GTX 650 and I'm having problems with installing my 2nd monitor.
    The card is this one:
    MSI GTX650 OC NVIDIA Graphics Card - 2GB - N650-2GD5/OC - Scan.co.uk

Essentially, my set up is a 1920x1080 AOC monitor in the VGA port and a 1400x900 Lenovo in the DVI-D port. The Lenovo is the secondary monitor. This monitor is on "standby" the whole time but it's active in the sense that I can move icons to it if I wanted to but there is no picture. I've tried reinstalling drivers, rolling back drivers, using monitors on a different pc. These two monitors worked perfectly on my old GTX 460 so I'm at a loss

Any help would be most appreciated.

Can you clarify what you mean here? Maybe take a photo of it?

    Thanks,

Try "windows key and hold p P" should show monitor options and then with your arrow keys set it to extend and you should get a 2nd desktop as long as the monitor is on. Just a small suggestion in case it was set to computer only, could be the cause possibly.
