    Intel graphics kernel mode driver

System info is telling me this driver is causing my comp to start slowly and says to uninstall if no longer using it.

Should I uninstall - will it affect anything?

    Hi,

It will affect your Intel Graphics card if you uninstall the driver.

I would suggest trying a clean boot which will use a minimal set of drivers and startup programs.
See if the computer then boots quicker?

Also check with the Intel Update Utility to see if there is a newer driver available for your Intel card.

    Thanks,

I already went to the Intel site you referenced and updated network driver, but couldn't find anything about the driver I mentioned.

    I'll contact them tomorrow.

    I've been there too.

Where do you see anything about the kernel driver?

Under Chipset and under VGA, update both.

Also I'm running a bit blind, can you upload your msinfo32 file please:

    1. Start Menu -> Type msinfo32 into the Search programs and files box
    2. When it opens, go to File, Save -> Save as msinfo32.nfo and save in a place you will remember
    3. Let it finish the process of gathering and saving the system info
    4. Right click the .nfo file, click send to compressed (zipped) folder -> Upload the .zip file here.

    cheers

Update these two, Reboot, then check your msinfo32:

Your attached msinfo32 file is corrupt!
