Windows 7 - 7 crashes when i change display via switch, any ideas?

| | 7 crashes when i change display via switch, any ideas? My set up is Media Centre G45 graphics HDMI out, feeding into a Denon AVR. This then feeds a switch thats feeds both a 37" 720 TV and a 1080p projector. The problem i have is when i switch the display 9/10 times, this will cause the system to crash. I suspect its either to do with the media center suddenly being told its displaying to a different display, or it may be to do with the change of resolutions. Does anyone know of a way i can solve this without installing a GPU (Not that, that will neccesarily solve the issue) or does anyone know if using a permanent 2 way splitter might solve the issue. I wondered if the same thing would happen then when i turn the pj on and the TV off or vice versa? |
