Hi,
We need the full system specs of the desktop you want to put it in including the PSU.
Paul
Hello,
Thanks for you reply. Below are the specs on my pc. Please give some advice.
i5 4670k (about to purchase)
Gigabyte Z87X-D3H (about to purchase)
HD 7950 (Twin Frozr 3) CrossFire in future (about to purchase)
Hyper 212 Evo
Aerocool Strike X One Case
3-5 120mm Fans
OCZ 500W ModXStream PSU
Crap Fan Controller
Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz 8GB Blue RAM
Samsung 830 128GB SSD
3TB Seagate Expansion External HD
2x Various Seagate Barracuda Hard Drives
Philips Fidelio X1 Headphones
Creative Sandblaster ZSound Card
I must admit, you have confused me a little, the thread title is asking what is the best graphics card to buy, but in your last post it looks like you have made your mind up to cross fire? lol.
If you do crossfire then I would recommend getting a better psu, a decent branded 850 watt would be good.
Paul
Actually I think I misread it, so you are looking to buy 1 7950 for now.
What is your budget? The 7950 is a good card, or the GTX 760.
If you want to spend a bit more then the GTX 770 or HD 7970.
I would recommend getting a better psu for any of those cards really.
Paul
I'd agree with Paul, an 850W PSU (I have a Corsair Gold Modular) and stretch to a GTX 770 for the GPU.
Also you never mentioned a budget, so you could just get an Nvidia Titan and be done with it lol.
Ya Huh !!! But isn`t a 690 supposed to be better ?

Man I would so love a Titan, or even a 780 Both are just far too expensive in the UK for me!
