Bright green screen

    Bright green screen


    Hi, I have just installed the driver for the Nvidia GeForce GT 430 and now my screen is bright green. is there a way you can put it back to look normal.

    Hi Dave .. Welcome to Seven Forums ... Did you update your Driver to a newer Version .. Or have you just Reinstalled Windows ... Have you tried to roll back the Driver ?

    Hi Maxie, thanks. I have just installed windows 7 and updated the graphic card driver, I also got the driver disk with it. normaly windows desktop is blue in colour but mine is bright green, sat here with sunglasses on.

    Hi Dave I think the latest Driver for you GPU is 314.22 - WHQL .. Is that the one you Downloaded .. Have you tried the one from the Disc ?

    yes tried the disk same results. just looked to see what drivers are installed.

    just been on /nvidia web site for latest driver and it is 320.49-WHQL. downloading it now.

    This is a bit weird i would try removing the Card and then reseat it ... Its strange that it worked before but does not now

Laptop Screen is too bright

Ive tried all the obvious things, but even on default it's too bright. i have it on the lowest brightness settings and it's still to bright. I really dont want to kill the lcd backlight

Ok I was working on warcraft 3, basically the game increases the gamma (due to an internal setting on it) and would normally reduce it again on exit. After the crash the gamma on my desktop is too high but also cannot be adjusted, some external setting stuck somewhere. If I go to the nvidia...
i installed doom 3 last night. i adjusted the brightness of the screen in the in-game system options and then began to play. got to a point where it started crashing on me.. currently running windows 7 rc so i closed it up and tried running it under different compatibility modes.. still no dice....
