    Graphics card reset after crashing

I recently crashed my graphics card playing on a server. The computer froze and after not responding for a while went to multi-colored lines all over the screen then straight to BSOD giving a error:nvlddmkm.sys The system has stopped responding and has now recovered. Since then I'm limited on my internet service use. Almost everything goes black screen and freezes up and ocassionally a bsod like the original one. I've update my windows updates. I have also uninstalled my drivers and installed the latest drivers and also..old drivers. driver:Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS
    comp:HP Pavilion dv6000

    Hi Tomarro, Welcome to Sevenforums.

As mentioned by you that you uninstalled and installed new drivers. Did you remove old driver's bits.

    1. Uninstall the drivers.
    2. Remove the bits of installed driver using DriverSweeper. Download link Guru3D - Driver Sweeper
    3. Install the latest drivers.
    4. Reboot and check.

    Keep us posted.
