    GPUs.....

lol so ive been debating this for a while.

what GPU do you guys think would be best price to performance?

i cant decide between these 3:

    GTX 760
    R9 280X
GTX 800 series (860 or so when its released)

so im probs going to be buying a gpu in march or so when some big games are coming out, however, which one should i get? i heard that the 800 series are coming out Q1 of 2014.

gaming at 1080p, i just want as many FPS as i can in all games under $300

Too far away and too many variables (price going up/down, new cards, etc) to make any kind of recommendation. Best thing to do would be to start saving based on the most expensive card you're considering and then ask again when it gets much closer to the time of purchase.

im thinking either the new 800 or 280x. when i will buy one, nvidia will release the 800 series.

My 760 is awesome during gaming, but if I were you I would wait for the new AMD or the 800 series, honestly I don`t think the 800`s will be worth the wait, from what I`ve seen here the AMD cards kick ass.

I'd go with R9 280X, it beats GTX 770 far enough.

I would wait for the other cards to release first but I heard the new amd cards might be pretty beast.

We already made the Conclusions the R9 280X is a rebranded 7970 because you can crossfire them

I think the R9 290x are 7990's but one GPU it seems to be the story here

The specs are Identical to my cards http://www.microcenter.com/product/4..._30_Video_Card
