intermitent crashes

My computer is going down at no regular interval. The machine itself never turns off and it restarts on its own. It gives me this error message.
my help window says the graphics driver is stopping but will not give me the instructions to correct. A little help would be wonderful.

It's your graphics driver.

Two options:

Update to the latest driver, or download an older "known to be working" driver with your card.

Some driver versions work better than others.
