    Weird Cursor Glitch

so i've had RC for a while and i had this weird ass issue that i HOPED the OEM version would fix.

at random times the cursor will triple in size, becoming HUGE. Like ridiculous blind person mode huge. i've updated all my drivers (im on a fresh formatted harddrive install of the OEM) installed flash and java. im using a chrome browser and i think that might be a problem, but when i was on the RC i was using safari it started doing the same thing. and sometimes it does it just chillin at the desktop

anyone have ANY idea what the eff this is all about? i think perhaps that it might cause some stability issues when i play games but i cant tell

    ----edit----

it also does it in firefox and when i was doing a windows update. i think it might be the card because it started happening when i got my 5870 but the card runs just fine

Are you positive that you aren't (by mistake) kicking on the accesbility options?

yeah its weird, ill be scrolling down a webpage and all of a sudden it just gets super big. like really really really big, the text cursor is about an inch tall on my 1680 1050 screen.

the ease of access center doesn't seem to have anything directly referring to giant cursor mode though.

    ----edit-----
so here are all the times that its happened to me. using the web (safari , chromium based browser SRWARE IRON, firefox. has not happened in ie8) installing foxit pdf reader. using the built in windows update and browsing steam

Hm...to make sure that there isn't a bunch of components going haywire...I would do a repair install

    Repair Install

Make sure to backup first (Just in case...)

sorry i probably should have let you know this but i've done repair installs and over the past 2 days i've reinstalled windows about 5 times (i had the NTLDR and BOOTMGR missing erros, but i figured that one out).

i want to chalk it up to 5870 driver errors, its weird it even effects my ingame cursors like when i play Dawn of War 2, the cursor is huge and pixelated

ladies and gentlemen, the issue has been solved. I updated my bios and the problem has gone away. Bear in mind that i also reverted to system defaults when i flashed the bios, but still it is fixed!
