    Display Driver Crash

My laptop's display driver continually has been crashing for the last couple days. It crashes then recovers. I couldn't find a display driver on the dell website but downloaded the Intel Chipset Driver since that is what was listed under display driver in device manager. I uninstalled and installed the chipset driver and it again crashed. Is there a fix to this?

I downloaded it and it seems this driver is for vista and I am running windows 7. I installed it anyway and it gave me a warning that the version I have on my laptop is newer than this but I went ahead and overwrote it anyway. Will see if the crashes stop.

But again is the chipset driver and display drivers the same? Why is there no video drivers on dell websites when I look for them?

Hi there .. No idea why you did not find the Drivers .. They where easy enough to find .. Intel chipset can refer to Graphics .. But also other things like to control USB ports etc ...

    Hi dfs4,

There are two video drivers available for your system with Windows 7 32 bit operating system. Below are the links:

Install the respective one and that should resolve this issue. Keep us posted with the results so we can advise you further.
