GPU detected, can't activate anywhere [reward]

also have you remembered to plug in the 6/8 pin power lead to the gpu. its often overlooked lol.

I've plugged the monitor to the gpu via HDMI.
And yes, I've plugged in the 6 pin pcie power lead too.

The only thing I could find is primary graphics adapter, and it was set to PCI Express
