Menu glitch in Chrome on second monitor

Not sure what to do at this point?

My system has run fine for 3+ years. I have an Asus P7 board with i5 CPU and Geforce GTS 450 and 2 Dell monitors, one an older 18" LCD and the other is a 21" LCD.

    Problem:

When Chrome is open on the secondary 18" Dell monitor when I go to the bookmarks or the settings menu items they are blank, Transparent, until the cursor is placed over an item and even then they may not display properly.

I have 2 of the Dell 18" LCDs so I've switched them. I've switched video cards, I've switch which monitor is connect to each of the 2 DVI ports on both video cards. I've switched cables on the monitors.

When Chrome is on my Primary monitor it works fine, no problems at all.

I've restored from an older drive image. I've updated drivers. Always the same thing.

The only thing I haven't tried it changing the power connector to the video card. I'll try that now.

I recall this old post of yours:
    Restore Default Window position.

Are you still running with the classic theme?
Also, do you have W7 set for best performance?
    (see this post)
Do other apps have issues on the second monitor?
What happens when you have Chrome half on each monitor?

Can you capture this issue via screenshots? Or do they come out normal?

When I start Chrome, it makes something happen to my desktop. Most (if not all) shortcut icons flash (refresh?). You can play with Chrome's advanced settings for hardware acceleration to see if that helps. You can also go back to this old version to see if the issue still happens: Download Google Chrome 24.0.1312.57 - FileHippo.com

    Thanks for the reply.
That other thread was for a computer I was working on for a client, has nothing to do with my present problem or on the same computer.

I will try the older version of Chrome.
