I don't know whether that would work or not. It seems like the card needs a DisplyPort splitter to run more than two monitors. Are you able to get two monitors running at least?
yes I can run 2 screens perfectly fine. I did some research last night and found out that for it to work on 3 screens I need 1 native and 2 legacy.

So i had 3 legacy source (HDMI and 2 DVI) which wouldn't work.

So this adaptor i ordered to test has a built in chip or something that somehow works with my card and eyefinity because instead of the DP adapter i have now that reads up as a DVI it will read as a DP source which is Native even tho my screen is VGA.

It is confusing i know but my friend does it this way and whatnot.

Also, this guys does the setup i would have to do.

I will bookmark my thread and once I get the adaptor, i will let you know.

The way i got mine to work was 2xHDMI and 1x DVI

Maybe that`s why they gave it to you, a card with only 1 dvi port, I`d throw it in the trash

But seriously, I still don`t know why they`re putting a display port on the cards, does anyone here even have a monitor with that hookup ?

Read up on the card, email the manuf. see what`s up.

yeah there is no reason for them to have it should just be HDMI and DVI

Well...my monitor has display port, most new monitors will. Esp., the new 4k monitors.

I`ve only seen it used when I hang larger monitors. Apparently you can daisy chain monitors with DP, Must read up some more on it.

......well then. My card has 1 dvi, 1 hdmi and 1 dp.

    Some adaptors work, some don't

I called AMD and they said the same thing i found out online.

you need 1 native (DP) and 2 Legacy (HDMI or DVI) for the 3 screens to work.

    very stupid i say.

So that is why i am testing this DP to VGA that my friend uses to see if it will work with my 7700 series.
