Opinions on the Asus AMD Radeon HD 7750 requested

Hello all.
Just a quick opinion request.

Thinking of changing out my Power Cooler Radeon HD 5850.

Am looking at the Asus AMD Radeon HD 7750 at the moment as it's affordable for me.

Anyone using one of these ?

Looking for a bit more performance for as little as possible, like everyone :)

Opinions, suggestions welcome.

if you can stretch a little further the GTX 650ti Boost is a great budget card at $100/£100.

The GTX 650ti sounds good Badger, but none I've just checked on have a Display Port output, which I would prefer. Not a bad price here though.

MCB, appreciate the 7750 is not mega fast, but I'm moving up from a HD 5850 so it's not going to be slower, and it's well in my price range. Hearing it performed decently is a great help, thanks.

the 7750 I'm considering is £70 now, just seeking some real life opinions on it as a solid stable card is more worth to me than a blindingly fast one.
Tech reviews I'm afraid leave me brain scrambled, so I thought I'd ask people who've got a 7750.

4 quid over your budget but its a decent bit better than 7750 mate

Here in the US it's just a tad more expensive than the ASUS full-size version of the card.

In contrast, if you need a low-profile version, Sapphire makes a low-profile version with 1/2-size and full-size brackets so that you can use the card either in a small form factor case or standard mid-tower. The price is significantly more than the full-size versions but if you want it and you need it, I guess you have to pay for it. They're hard to find, so the price is high.

Cheers for the suggestions dsperber & Devlin, going to spend some time doing a compare on all the ideas, least it sounds like there are some decent upgrades for me out there, with real users happy with the performance etc.

So, I'm off to do some thinking.

You could also consider a 7770 for just a little bit more. I have an XFX 7770 that's really a solid performer for work and better than average gaming. It's got more stream processors than the 7750 and should perform a little better than the 7750.

It's a fair bang for the buck, IMO.
