It won't be as good, but it will probably do better than the cooler you have now. I would just buy the 212 EVO if it were me...

theyre just a hot chip in general. after doing a lot of research for a build im doing for a customer it seems to be that its normal for it to be fairly warm in comparison to a non APU varient. its not faulty. it just requires a half decent cooler to bring them down.

an all in one water cooling loop from corsair would do wonders and only a little more than a top notch air cooler.

think i may have sused it. because this cpu has a turbo mode. whenever you have it set to auto the cpu gets 1.45v all the time for some stupid reason. i have turned off the turbo mode and with no overclocking i can get a decent 41c. not great but dont forget that i dont have any aftermarket cooling other than a phenom 1100t heatsink and fan which isnt great. however, what would you guys consider to be a good core temp at full load. hwmonitor says im getting 90c as the package temp. im not sure what package temp means though. but with a 1000mhz gpu overclock and 2000mhz nb overclock i can not achieve 54c and like i said 90c core package temps at full load. any good?
