    Radeon R7 250X availability?

I'm interested in the Radeon R7 250X which was supposedly released three days ago, but I'm not seeing it online. Does anyone know of a source? Also I'm using two monitors which are connected via DVI. If I get the 250X I'll have to use the VGA port on the card for one monitor. Is that likely to effect image quality? Is there any downside? TIA

I have an R7 240x and have two monitors, one through DVI-D and the other through VGA -- and the VGA-driven monitor has the same picture quality as the other monitor.

I do the same with one of my PCs and the quality is the same on both monitors.

    @ OP:

    Here you go:

    Newegg.com - Radeon R7 250X

Thanks for the Newegg link. That's the first unit that's clearly the right thing. Unfortunately at $120 it's too close to the 260X. The 250X was announced as a <$100 card. This one on Amazon is the right price but it's not clear it's the right part - the packaging says 250 not 250X in the screenshots:

    Amazon.com: Diamond Radeon R7-250X Boost Overclocked 1GB DDR5 PCIE: Computers & Accessories

I expect more of them will be showing up soon.

Edit: Here's another one at a better price...

Newegg must have just added the ASUS card. There was only the XFX card when I posted the link. It's good to see that more are coming out.

I don't think that Amazon card is the 250X. Unless they're using old graphics, nothing has an "X" on it.

I decided to get an R7 260X which was on sale last week. It installed easily and is working fine. Now I just need a recommendation for a good freeware/demo "shooter" that I can test it with :) I used to be a big fan of Doom 3 and Quake 4, but I haven't been playing shooters for a long time and don't know what's currently popular. TIA
