Strange behaviour on Lenovo T60

Hi, I successfull installed W7U on my Lenovo T60 (2800VT1), the installation process went smooth, all the hardware seems working except for the Video Card's memory.
The videocard is an ATI Radeon x1300 with 512mb dedicated memory, on the XP it shows the right amount, with Windows 7 it shows only 64mb as dedicated and more than 1Gb sharing from my 3gb onbord.
I have tried different Ati drivers but none seems to install properly, the only one that works is the one provided from the IBM website and its a Vista driver.
I checked on the Bios if I could change the memory allocation but without any luck..
How can I change the video memory size?
Thanks in advance
