Best PCI card for Aero and dual monitor Photoshop

Hi Folks. I'm new to this forum and hope to get some advice for updating my video card before I install Windows 7. I ran Microsoft's upgrade advisor and was informed that my video card (ATI X1650) was not up to running Aero. I'd like to have that functionality but it is essential that I be able to have a card that runs dual DVI monitors, one of which, an Eizo ColorEdge is color-calibrated.

I'm not a gamer so that stuff is moot for me but the ability to maintain high resolution color-perfect monitors is critical for Photoshop apps (my main app).

With that background, what video cards do you think I should be considering?

    TIA

You can run Vista driver 9.8 Catalyst for that card and have Aero.

    ATI Catalyst? Legacy Display Driver

It should also accelerate Photoshop CS4.

I "use" a Radeon X1550 Dual PCI (NOT PCI Express!)....I say "use" because, despite buying it for it's dual output, I only have one monitor!! So, with the caveat that I haven't see it running 2 monitors, that's the PCI card I have.

Thanks torrentg. I did the driver install as suggested and ran the upgrade advisor. It still said Aero won't run properly. Would you expect this?

No Aero should run. If you're sure it installed and does not show up as standard vga in device manager, try to choose an Aero theme. If you can't, there should be a troubleshoot Aero link under the themes.

    Right click desktop, personalize.

Make sure you have rebooted the machine already, since when you attempted to install the driver before. Then check on all this.
