There is no mechanical hard drive that can max out sata 2 specs, so it does not matter if it is connected to sata 3 or sata 3.

USB cables are different in that USB 2.0 has a 4 wire cable while USB 3.0 has a 9 wire cable

run windows index and see the lowest scoring hardware and take it from there. I have an really old dell that scores 3.4 and that's from the aero performance. too bad I cant upgrade that hardware but win 7 really does run nicely and does run all aero themes even being below the gpu memory minimum of 128

Mine can only get all the way up to 5.9 for some reason, even though it's SATA 6.0 Gbps.
.... mine too , its a sata 6gb/s , but currently is plugged in to 3gb/s ... stupid retailer's faults and now they refuse to give me the wire .... , well i guess for me my only problem is the i-GPU ....
If you have a 6 Gbs hard drive, you want it plugged into a 6 Gbs sata port with a Sata 3 cable.

Changing the "minimize" "maximize" and "close" buttons of a theme
Ok so I'm using a custom visual style made by another user however I don't really like the buttons used that I mentioned above. The creator states it is acceptable to change the theme to however you like as long as you don't redistribute it anywhere. Ok so I opened up the .msstyles file (using...
