    Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600


    Good Evening

    Any one out there that could possibly help in getting Transport Giant Gold edition (without any other mods installed) to run on my new HP model. HP Pro Book 450 G1.
    What amazes me is that an older program called Freight Tycoon runs perfectly, but the TG Gold "stops" at the menu, when it wants to do the "screen resolution check".
    I have it running on another pc with Win 7 Home Edition without any problems!
    Is it just the diff between Win 7 Pro & Home Edition that will not let the program run?
    Any ideas and or suggestions would be highly appreciated.

    It's probably not the difference between the Home Edition and Pro that's causing the problem. It's likely that the game is finding something in your graphics card that it doesn't like.

    Are your video drivers installed and up to date with the most recent version applicable to your PC?

    look its just like when I got windows 8.1 tried to run borderlands 2 didn't run then I went back to windows 7 home premium works fine don't know why its just one of those things.

    Thanks for the response. I see my specs say a PC but it is a Laptop ( have changed it ).
    Yes I do have the latest video drivers installed.
    Will just to have to accept that it will not work / run on the Pro

    It's probably to do with the integrated Intel graphics, they're not designed for gaming by any stretch of the imagination. The edition of Windows is completely irrelevant.

    What is the diff between these 2 x display cards

    1. Intel(R) HD Graphics

    Not a lot theoretically. You'd have to take the processors into consideration (dual core, quad core, speed) and the amount of dedicated vRAM.

Hey all, I recently built an Intel Core i5-4690K w/ Asus Z97-A Motherboard. It has built in Intel HD Graphics 4600. The motherboard has HDMI/DVI-D/S-VGA & Display Port. I am using a Insignia NS-28E200NA14 28" 720P TV as a monitor. It has HDMI and VGA inputs.
Since I got my new laptop, I've had an intermittent problem where the screen would go completely blank for about 1-2 seconds before coming back on. At times, when the screen comes back on, the Aero theme would be switched off and the basic theme would be running without any of my settings changing....
Hi all... What games are playable on good settings with this Internal GPU on my CPU? And will it run GTA Episodes from Liberty City Stories fine? I'm playing CS:GO which runs on high settings by default smoothly also downloading DOTA 2 which runs on Max as well.
