I installed windows 7 RTM (64bit) few days back, i have Quad core processor, Asus P5QPL-AM motherboard, 4GB RAM ... I was running windows XP before and my card (9800GT) was working fine on XP. When i installed windows 7, everything was smooth, except that Nvidia Control Panel was not appearing in my taskbar, i went to Nvidia website and downloaded 9800GT latest drivers
for windows 7 64bit ...
After installing, Nvidia Control Panel is still missing in my taskbar, and i have only Physx Properties in my new programs after installing drivers ... i can only hit the max screen resolution to 1600x1200 ... Under "screen resolution" properties it is showing my display as "Generic non-PNP monitor" and when i hit "detect" and try to change it to "Nvidia 9800GT" my screen resolution (list of resolutions) option turns dead.
I am really thankful to you guys for providing this platform to raise such issues, i ll really appreciate if someone can spare some time to help me out.
Thanks in advance n waiting anxiously for your help.
