Colour correction with Radeon HD4300/4500 series

From general reading it seemed that Catalyst Control Centre allowed the individual parts of RGB to be tweaked.

In the attached PDF I have shots of what came from my set up and comparisons from the AMD site and a 3rd party. They allow individual tweaks, mine does not.
Is it that I have something set up wrongly, or does HD4300/4500 series only permit complete RGB correction?

    All advice is appreciated! :)

There will be options to tweak the RGB settings within CCC, it's been updated since this was published, anyone with a Radeon that can navigate? I'm on an Nvidia card so i'm very limited to what I can see.

but not for each component, so may be HD 4300/4500s are too cut down for that?

You could change the RGB settings for a 3DFX voodoo card back in the day, so can't see any reason companies would remove the feature.

Weird-isn't it? I wonder if there is some hitherto unnoticed compatibility problem twixt card and computer. I'm sure that the rainbow block for instance. must have some use

Ok I have both AMD and NVidia cards in my systems, digital and one analog connection so I can say the option is there in both analogue and digital modes on the video cards modes. That was my first though, if you were using the DVI connection it often removes adjustments as they are not needed. So just in case you will find the adjustment under Desktop Management , Desktop Colour. If it is not there try reinstalling Catalyst Control Center. It is possible if you just installed the basic driver you may not get all the features. I suspect that is what the issue is. You can also use Right click on Desktop, click on Display and calibrate Windows colour there too. (FYI).

    Nothing in Desktop Management!

Have tried uninstalling CCC and re-installing with no luck. Basic driver, tbh, the driver would be the one put in by the repair man, so I'd have no idea whether basic or not. I did download and install and update from AMD site, but that made zilch difference.

Next will try swap to VGA!

Aha, so you have had some work done to the machine. What? I moved to the USA 14 years ago and left my crystal ball in England.
CCC needs .net framework to work fully. Are all you windows update and fixes current? That would be the next thing to try.

Just bto confirm that this is the driver you tried/are using,

    Legacy

as it is the latest (and quite possibly last) for that series of card.

    To anyone, but especially

    @Indianatone
I use auto updates, so all should be OK. However I have attached a snip of the registry, that shows v4. being the latest, but there is also v4.5. I tried to d/load and install it, but Windows tols me that it or a higher version was already on my computer. So far I haven't found it.

For whatever reason downloading from your link did not produce what I expected. I am not worried about that. :) I've had so many attempts with the OP problem, that all to do with graphic was in a muddle. Anything surplus of the driver links has been cleared.
BUT there is still a problem of a mismatch: device manager has driver detail 8.970.100.1100, whilst in
C:\AMD\support, it is 8.970.100.1100. Rolling back gives 8.970.100.7000 in device manager.

    Anybody at all Helllllllllp!
