Windows 7: Windows Aero

Windows Aero

My graphics card is a Mirage 3 onboard and does not support Aero. I read up on what I have to do to disable the Mirage and install the new one. I am not thrilled about going into the Bios to disable it, so I was wondering just how good is Aero. Is it some ground breaking video or is it just a bit better? Thanks,

You need Aero. It really is simple as that. Great compared to not having.

Going into bios is nothing. Don't be scared. You won't hurt anything if you read about it and use very basic common sense. You will be safe. Disabling onboard is no tough task.

Usually if your bios/motherboard is recent just installing a new PCI-E/AGP graphics card will disable onboard VGA and enable the PCI-E/AGP one.
