Nvidia GeForce4 MX**** and AMD Radeon HD 7800 in same PC
I want to know if I can put by one Nvidia card into my PC with AMD, in addition to my main card, because the old one has S-Video output and none of my TVs have HDMI.

Er... no. I would think you'd have to stick with one platform or the other. I can't imagine the driver nightmare you would have getting the two different cards to work together.
if you have a 7800 series card with a vga output you could use one of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/20104...f14=108&ff19=0
they wont work with a dvi if you converted it to vga as you would need an active adapter which would set you back ££££ be cheaper to buy a new tv lol
That VGA adapter actually works? I thought you would need a box, not just a cord. I have an actual VGA port on my laptop, so I guess I could use that instead. I might look for one on Amazon, although that seller looks great, I still live under my parents roof and they have to approve all my purchases.
yeah vga to s video works. as both are an analogue signal, so no converting or switch is required.
But look at this... Amazon.com: HDE VGA Adapter to TV S-Video RCA Out Cable for PC Video: Electronics
It only has a 2 star rating, and everyone is saying you need a special "TV OUT" feature for it to work on your graphics card, which I doubt this would have since there's an HDMI port.
ok after much googling it appears gpus havent had the correct features for many moons (and ive not used s video in about 10 years..)
but you will actually require a scanning switch. like this one

but in all honesty you could buy a used monitor or tv for less than 50$ which would be 100x better than the poor resolution youll get with tv hooked up to s video.
Yeah, those look like the best option. I was hoping to get away with something for free though.
