    broke screen and cant turn on another


    Hi,

    My friend brokes his screen laptop and he cant turn on an another so he decided to buy a new pc.
    They give me the laptop and if i can fix ,laptop is for me.
    My problem is the same as my friend, i cant turn on another screen, i think the option is blocked on windows,but the windows not start too.
    Forum mates, tou have a solution to unblock the option without windows or something like that?


    PS:I take the laptop to a local store and they phone me that they solve the problem, but they want to format the pc and i havent the money for that, so they give me the laptop with the problem again, so maybe are a solution for my case.

    You could try cloning it (in Display Properties) -- that is, if the monitor port does work and the drivers are installed. In Windows 8 you have to push Windows+P to project out to an external display or projector.

Ok so i have two laptops, with broken screens. Cracked badly. Both are gateways, what is the cheapest way to replace them, or ways you guys would suggests. Here is a picture of one.
