    Nvidia GTX760 Failing to Update Drivers


    Hey guys just finished building my new PC and am trying to update my graphics carddrivers. Every time i try to install either via disk that came with it or by using the website it fails to install. Any help would be much appreciated I just want to play minecraft XD

    PC
    Motherboard-Asus 97
    Grapics Card-GTX 760
    Ram-two 4gb sticks
    Memory-1TB HardDrive

    I am trying this as we speak thank you for the help. I will Update when it finishes.


    EDIT:Could not uninstal drivers as nothing was there ...tried doing rest of prcedure and that did not work.

    Is the card showing in Device Manager at all?

    No it is not. The fans on the graphics card are running though.

    Stupid question but needs to be asked, have you connected the power cable from the PSU to the card?

    In that case boot into BIOS and see if it's showing up there. If not, remove the card and reseat it then reboot and see if Windows detects it.

    Also, what size PSU do you have?

    Use driverview,an excellent Nir Sofer tool, which will list all the drivers installed,manufacturer,location etc. and then decide which to remove and replace.It is perhaps better to stay with the drivers Win7 jnstalls and ignore update advice from Nvidea.

    You need the Nvidia drivers in my opinion for better performance. Please use this link to fill in more detailed info on your specs.
