    Need to Upgrade Video Card

Before I install W7, I need to upgrade my video cardso that Aero will run. Here is one I have looked at.

    Model: VCG84R2SXEB
    Form Factor: Low Profile
    Interface:
    - Interface: PCI Express 2.0 x16 Chipset:
    - Chipset Manufacturer: NVIDIA
    - GPU: GeForce 8400 GS
    - Core Clock: 567MHz Memory:
    - Memory Clock: 800MHz
    - Memory Size: 256MB
    - Memory Interface: 64-bit
    - Memory Type: GDDR2 3D API:
    - DirectX: DirectX 10
    - OpenGL: OpenGL 2.1 Ports:
    - D-SUB: 1
    - DVI: 1
    - TV-Out: HDTV / S-Video Out
What does "Form Factor - Low Profile" mean. Does this mean it is a low end card? == I will be getting 32-bit Windows, the cards Memory Interface says 64-bit. Does that mean I can't run the card or is that something else? In summary, does this card look OK to run Win 7? Thanks,

PS == My motherboard manual says "PCI-E slot is fully complaint with PCI-E Base Specification Revision 1.1". -- Is this a problem since Interface of Card says PCI Express 2.0?

Low profile means just what it says in comparison to a full size card (also called half-height), not low end (despite the 8400GS being about as low end as you can get). Most low profile cards will come with two mounting brackets; one for a standard ATX case, and one for a slim case.

My motherboard manual says "PCI-E slot is fully complaint with PCI-E Base Specification Revision 1.1". -- Is this a problem since Interface of Card says PCI Express 2.0?
No as the 2.0 cards are backwards compatible with the 1.1 spec.
