I've used ASUS products quite a bit and I've always been impressed with the build quality and durability of their stuff. Personally, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of their cards, but that's me. YMMV.

I haven't used EVGA products, so I can't comment on them.

For the third time I'll recommend the ASUS DirectCU II.

the asus is clocked higher so will be faster.. Not that 26mhz will make an awful lot of difference. youre talking 2.3% difference in terms of boost clock speed!

EVGA are pretty much on the same quality and build as ASUS, however one thing to consider is nowadays, EVGA are moving away from graphics card production more, seems every week I get an email from EVGA talking about how good their new PSU is, and when looking for a GPU last night on scan, 2 graphics cards were available from EVGA compared to ASUS who had about 8-9 available, so the choice is yours really, personally I use EVGA for graphics and also my motherboard, but ASUS appear to be cornering the market in all components.

You'd have no complaint with either. Both are good. The factory overclock is no big deal.

Go for whatever is the cheapest.
