    Why This Video Card?

What could this card do that a $100 could not do? Just curious.

12Gb is just nowhere near enough if you want to edit video in HD

    Thats plenty

GFX Cards like these are used for rendering games, not playing them :)

Bigmck, for a serious answer, it will do almost anything better than a $100 card. The truth lies in what you do with your computer. If you only want to watch DVD movies, probably nothing except make you broke. In other things it is simply an opinion. If you are a professional HD Video editor, it is possible it may be worth it if you render HD videos all day long. But, in my opinion, that's the only time it is worth it unless you happen to have the money and simply want the latest and greatest at any price. Even that is debatable. If you are a serious gamer, the question should be what will this card do that a $600-$700 card won't do. In that case, my opinion is very little, if anything. In the world of graphics where a lot of graphic power is needed, a $100 card is very low end. It will play DVDs as well as most anything else. But so will most on chip graphics. If you want to play the newer games at good frame rates in higher qualities, you are going to have to have a more expensive card, but not as expensive as that card.

Actually, they are used for playing them...
If you want to render things or video editing...you should have a firepro or quadro card

Play Crysis across 3 27" monitors at max settings

If I could afford that card, I`d definitely put it in my box Not !!!

I`d save up a few more bucks and get the Superclocked card.
