I was basically just youtubing a bit ago, and this happend (refer to pictures). Its like this aqua color on white backgrounds and the red lines and haze on the taskbar and some black background images. Its really weird, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Ahh ok, so it is my display. When I turned my laptop on today and got to my desktop, everything was fine, until I started using the internet and boom its back again. It also went back to normal again, whilst still browsing. So is this maybe a cable that I can re-seat or replace or the actual display itself?
I've also noticed that when the screen turns back on (since I have set to a 1 min turn off display time) the colors are normal again for a short period.

Doubt if it`s a loose cable with a laptop, but it most certainly can be the screen.
Can you hook the laptop to an external screen ? See if you have any problems on that screen.

The most probable cause (especially as an external display apparently works) is that either the laptop's screen or a connector from the laptops mobo to the screen has become defective.
(Remember it COULD be a connector from the card - there's different connectors from the built in graphics to the VGA/HDMI cable socket and to the internal display -- unless the laptop display has PHYSICALLY been damaged (cracked, liquid spilt on it etc) screens going defective are much rarer than you think.
Getting this type of fault repaired could be reasonably cheap if it's not the actual display that's broken --the best thing is to take it to a computer repairer in your area --google / yellow pages etc. There's often individuals advertising in the local press / on a website that they offer computer repairs and usually these people are quite good.
I often can open up and do minor things with a laptop but I knew I was defeated when I'd broken a tiny cable from the Mobo to the HDD. I took it to one of these guys who fixed it for me for only around 25 EUR.
If it IS the screen - unless you can get a cheap replacement my advice would be to use this as a decent excuse to get another laptop - new laptops can be quite cheap and replacing a broken display on an old laptop might not be "cost effective". You can recover all your data OK - the external display still works. !!

I have got a dell m5010 laptop with the same problem the red coming up.
I will test on an external screen if that goes it means then its either the screen ribbon or the display screen.
The cheapest option to try screen ribbon cable then find a cheap screen.
But I will do a test this weekend to see the results.
