increasign dedicated video RAM
I have a Lenovo G470 with Intel HD graphics 3000. I have tried to go in to the BIOS and change it but there is no option. Anything else I can do because my games are running slow.

Not too much you can do. The G470 appears to be an entry level laptop. You don't state how much memory you have now, what processor or what's running. It's hard to determine what, if anything, can be done. Reducing the number of background processes and adding more memory might help. If you're running Aero, change it to performance and see it that helps. Check your startup processes for unnecessary resource hogs. Running your laptop off the AC adaptor when you game might help as might changing your power options.

What games are you trying to play? As carwiz has already said, it's an entry level laptop and is not even close to being considered a gaming machine. There's nothing you can do to it to turn it into one either.

The problem isn't just the lack of dedicated video memory but the lack of features and performance in the integrated video system. This is very common in laptops. The design priorities for most laptops are low weight, power consumption, and cost. The designers do the best they can within those constraints. How performance video as required for many games would severely compromise those priorities.
Laptops are not game machines and there is really nothing you can do to make it so.

Trying to play League of Legends, it was playing fine on high graphics with 45 fps 2 weeks ago but after a windows update i can barley play on very low with 30fps. I have an Intel i5 2.3Gh with 4GB RAM]]
And my CPU chip is sharing 1969 mb of RAM with my graphics but my graphics had only 64mb designated.

You can`t change the dedicated video ram, it is what it is.
If you had better fps before the update, then do a system restore back to that time and don`t install the update.

Too late now, I did a system recovery because my computer was corrupted and now I'm dealing with other errors and problems I've never had before with other games.
