GeForce GTX 660 keeps crashing
My PC Specs:
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 660
CPU: Intel i5-4670K @ 3.40ghz
RAM: Kingston ValueRAM 4GBx2 DDR3
Motherboard: MIS Z97 GAMING 5
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO Basic
PSU: Corsair RM Series RM550
Already own a HDD, taken from previous computer.
Recently bought a new computer, bought all the parts and had a friend put it together, and ever since I keep getting crashes with my GPU. Always the same crashes, screen freezes, audio turns weird and usually have to restart my PC cause of it. Most times I get a little pop-up saying Nvidia windows kernel mode driver has stopped working and has been recovered or something along those lines.
I have already sent back 1 GPU and received a new one which has the same problems. I tried installing my drivers on the hdd instead of ssd didnt work, I tried underclocking, didnt work, did a clean install windows on ssd, didnt work. I'm out of options and would really love some help with this matter.
