Can't apply an ICC-profile to my monitor

I have Windows 7 64 bit and a BenQ XL2411z monitor. My GFX is Nvidia 670 GTX.

I want to apply an ICC-profile to my mointor.

So I go into "Colour Management".

And then, in the Device scroll-down-menu, I only see two devices:

    "Printer: Fax"
    and
    "Printer: Microsoft XPS Document Writer"

When I press the "Identify Monitors"-button nothing happens at all.

I want to apply the ICC-profile to my monitor, not to a printer!

Can anyone help please? Have googled for this problem, but seems like I'm the only one in the world with this problem.

EDIT: I should maybe note that my screen is identified correctly as "BenQ XL2411Z (Digital)" in the windows Device Manager and under desktop-right-click-> Screen Resolution".

My monitor is connected through DVI.

Why has a mod moved this thread to the Graphics Card section?

This is more likely a software-related problem , lol.

try reinstalling your monitor and see if it shows in Device Manager.
